Dental Specialties

At Lee Dental, we treat a wide variety of patients and dental conditions but sometimes a specialist is needed. We work with a great team of professionals in the area to ensure all of our patients receive the best care possible.

Endodontics

An Endodontist is a dentist that specializes in the study and treatment of the dental pulp. They perform a variety of procedures, but most commonly you’ll see an Endodontist if you need a more complicated root canal or surgical root related procedure in order to save a tooth.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

An Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is a dentist that operates on defects and injuries of the mouth, jaw and face through surgical extraction and reconstruction. If your wisdom teeth are impacted, you may need to see an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to have them removed.

Orthodontics

If we refer you to an Orthodontist, it’s typically because you’ll need to be fitted for braces to correct or establish normal function and appearance of your teeth and jaws.

Pediatric Dentistry

Pediatric Dentists specialize in comprehensive dental treatment for children and adolescents.

Periodontics

A Periodontist specializes in the treatment of gum disease. Not only does gum disease cause damage to the gum around your teeth, but it can seriously affect the bone and supportive tissues that keep your teeth in place. If we suspect you may be suffering from periodontal disease, we’ll consult a specialist to do a thorough evaluation before we create a treatment plan.

Prosthodontics

If you need to have missing teeth replaced or new dentures properly fitted for more complicated cases, we may refer you to one of the skilled Prosthodontists we work with.
